With this assignment, CSIL consortium assisted the EIB's evaluation unit by evaluating intermediated lending to SMEs in the ACP States. The evaluation provided an overview of intermediated loans for SMEs in ACP state;Â a literature review about intermediated lending activities for SMEs carried out by international finance institutions and development banks; and in-depth country analysis of macroeconomic and investment frameworks.
CSIL provided an overview of International Financing Institutions’ activity in intermediated lending in every ACP state, and also mobilised and coordinated national experts providing country-specific and background information on SME access to finance in each Country.
