This assignment aims to perform an in-depth study to build an aggregated view of the Space Economy and identify trends, strengths, weaknesses and perspectives of the EU space sector in the global context and its spill-overs in the economy. The outputs of this study are meant to be instrumental in feeding and support the ongoing decision-making process related to the MFF 2021-2027, as well as to derive insights to further shape the EU space policy and associated R&I needs. CSIL leads the analyses for the socio-economic impact assessment of cost and benefits and contributes to drawing conclusions and recommendations on EU R&I policies. CSIL has been awarded this study as part of the work carried out within the Framework Contract on Ecosystem support for Copernicus and Space Policy, in partnership with SpaceTech Partners.
