As part of an EU Joint Cluster Initiative aimed at aiding the recovery and business transformation of lighting and furniture SMEs, CSIL conducted market research to analyse the current state of the green and digital transition within the furniture and lighting fixture sectors. Specifically, the research focused on the impact of sustainability and digitalisation drivers on product development trends, the adoption of new technologies, and the formulation of companies’ strategies. The analysis drew from diverse sources, incorporating insights from a dedicated survey involving one hundred sector stakeholders, as well as selected case studies.
