Francesca Monaco joined CSIL in 2020 as a policy evaluator and researcher. She works on EU innovation policies (including in the space sector), support programmes for SMEs, and monitoring systems.
She has solid expertise with desk research, structuring and managing online surveys (+1000 responses), structured and semi-structured interviews (by phone and in-field), and analysing the data collected with qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
She has over three years of previous experience in a large consultancy firm (Deloitte), where she was involved in evaluation studies for European institutions.
Francesca holds a Master’s Degree in European and International Studies from the University of Trento and a Graduate Diploma in Transnational Governance from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, based in Pisa.
